Drip Irrigation with Solar Pumps
The Sahel region of West Africa faces the challenge of not having enough water to grow agriculture. In particular, growing vegetables requires a lot of water. To save water, they use engine pumps to supply the fields with water through drip irrigation. However, engine pumps have the problem of too much pressure and high fuel costs. We support agriculture with a solar irrigation system that combines an AC pump with a battery-free power system.
