As we expand our business in Africa, our company focuses not only on selling products but also on developing local business partners. As part of this effort, international students from Uganda and Nigeria joined our internship program to learn about technology transfer.

A student from Uganda has successfully completed the internship and gained the necessary skills. Our relationship with him began two years ago, and we have focused on building trust. In business, the most important thing is building strong relationships. After he returns to Uganda, we will work together to develop a business that solves social challenges using our technology.
A student from Nigeria also participated in the internship. After completing the program in Japan, he decided to continue his studies at a Japanese university to learn even more. He will return to Nigeria temporarily and then come back to Japan for the next step in his journey.
We hope this internship will help shape his future career and open new opportunities for him.
Our Business in Uganda and Our Efforts
In Uganda, electricity supply is a big challenge, especially in rural areas. While cities have a relatively stable power supply, many rural areas still do not have electricity because power infrastructure development is slow.
Our company is working to improve living conditions in these areas by introducing a sustainable power supply system. Using our technology, we aim to bring electricity to non-electrified regions.
In particular, we are focusing on solar power as a clean and sustainable way to increase electricity access in rural communities. This will help create a better and more sustainable future for the people of Uganda.
Fun Memories from the Internship
In between technology transfer sessions, there was also time to enjoy Japanese culture and scenery.
