For this trip, we decided on Kyoto as our destination based on the international students’ request!
They wanted to “experience Japan’s history and culture,” and what better place than Kyoto? So off we went!
First, Fueling Up with Kushikatsu!
A good trip always starts with delicious food.
Even though we were in Kyoto, our first stop was a kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) restaurant!
You might wonder, “Why kushikatsu in Kyoto?” But trust me, it was the perfect choice.
Crispy batter, dipped in a rich sauce—simply irresistible! The international students were delighted, exclaiming, “This is delicious!”
Trying new flavors in a foreign country is part of the fun of traveling.

You Can’t Visit Kyoto Without Seeing Kiyomizu-dera!
With our stomachs satisfied, it was time for some real sightseeing.
When you think of Kyoto, Kiyomizu-dera Temple is a must-visit!
As expected, the place was packed with tourists.
But even so, no matter how many times I visit, it never fails to impress.
The view from Kiyomizu’s stage was simply breathtaking.

Kyoto’s Scenic and Historic Streets
Kyoto is not just about temples; the whole city is filled with historic charm.
From stone-paved streets to traditional townhouses, and the first hints of autumn leaves, every corner is picturesque.
Just walking around, I was reminded again of how Kyoto is a place where you can truly experience Japan’s heritage.
Wrapping Up
We enjoyed delicious food, soaked in Kyoto’s history and culture, and had an unforgettable day together!
Kyoto never ceases to offer new discoveries, and next time, let’s go to another great place!
