Objective
The project aims to not only install solar actived road studs as a safety measure at night, but also to implement the project together with local construction companies. This will contribute to local employment as well as the transfer of technology needed to install the road studs.
Challenges
The challenge of this construction project in Laos was that we were limited to locally available construction equipment and materials.
First, we faced the challenge of low power drills and poor quality cutters, but our processing knowledge solved the problem. We teach that knowledge to our installation personnel.
