Tap water
In many African countries, tap water is already widespread in big cities. However, the water pipes have become so old that the tap water supplied is often reported to be cloudy on social networking sites. In fact, more and more people in urban areas are using plastic bottled water as their drinking water. We consider that there is a high demand for affordable purified water in other countries as well as in Dakar, Senegal.
Today, JICA internship students tried out the latest water purification equipment.
We can also drive this equipment with a solar system so that it can be used in areas without electricity. This water purification equipment can filter more than 1000 liters of water per hour. The equipment pictured is the smallest equipment we supply.
